Delta Sigma Pi

The George Washington University
Xi Rho Chapter
Washington, DC

First off, I want to thank you for visiting the Delta Sigma Pi website. Our co-ed, professional business fraternity consists of undergraduate students at all levels of education at GWU. We have members concentrating in all majors offered by the GW School of Business, as well as economics majors from the Elliott School of International Affairs. Delta Sigma Pi was founded in 1907 at New York University, and was established in 2001 at GWU, with the mission to foster the study of business in universities, to encourage scholarship, social activity, and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice.

Our organization works hand-in-hand with the GW School of Business, assisting in co-sponsoring university wide events and activities. We hold numerous professional, social, fundraising, and community service activities each semester, with hopes of promoting closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce. Our members are involved in all aspects of the GW community; whether it being organizations, sports teams, or various other opportunities offered.

I hope that you join the effort in strengthening Delta Sigma Pi at GWU or consider taking advantage of the activities that we sponsor throughout the semester. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact myself or any of my fellow brothers.

Sincerely,
Ryan Smith
President-Xi Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi
